Why he might be annoying:

He was intensely anti-American because of his affiliation with Al-Qaeda.
He had nine aliases.
He was the number one terrorist in Central Asia.
He was the mentor and role model of Taliban fighter Baitullah Mehsud.

Why he might not be annoying:

He was a secluded man.
He hid in Afghanistan and/or Pakistan because the Uzbek government sentenced him to death.
He knew that an attack on American soil would cause an American counter attack, which could disrupt his group’s safety.
He lost an arm and a leg when the US air strike struck Pakistan, in which he was fatally wounded.
He was then taken to a hospital, but died the day after that.
