The Resume

    (October 29, 1941- )
    Born in Hershey, Pennsylvania
Public relations director for the Baltimore Colts (1970-74)
Assistant general manager of the Baltimore Colts (1976-83) and the New York Giants (1994-97)
General manager of the Cleveland Browns (1985-92) and the New York Giants (1998-2007)

Why he might be annoying:

He frequently butted heads with Robert Irsay in Baltimore.
Prior to his work with the Giants, his teams had minimal success.
Some pundits felt he gave up way too much to acquire Eli Manning from San Diego at the 2004 NFL Draft.
He retired months prior to the start of the Giants 2007 season, missing out on an opportunity to get a Super Bowl ring.

Why he might not be annoying:

He drafted John Elway with the first overall pick, only to have Elway traded behind his back, which played a key factor in his decision to leave the Colts.
He had a decent run with the Browns after taking Bernie Kosar first overall in the NFL Supplemental Draft.
He succeeded the legendary George Young as the Giants general manager.
He was the architect of the Giants teams that appeared in Super Bowl XXXV and won Super Bowl XLII.
