    Announcer for more than 30 game shows, including 'Match Game' and 'The Price is Right'

Why he might be annoying:

    He is best known for being Bob Barker's announcer/sidekick on 'The Price is Right.'
    He is overshadowed by Rod Roddy.
    He was the announcer on several failed game shows.
    Almost all of the shows he announced for were produced by Mark Goodson and Bill Todman.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He didn't hog up as much screen time as Rod Roddy.
    He once filled in for Charles Nelson Reilly when he was late to a taping of 'Match Game'.'
    He originated the catchphrases 'Come on down!' and 'Get ready to match the stars.'
    He worked until just weeks before he died.
