The Resume

    (circa 1840-June 25, 1876)
    Sioux name was Tamila Wewe
Scout for the 7th Cavalry Regiment
Died at the Battle of the Little Bighorn

Why he might be annoying:

The date and place of his birth are unknown.
He got in trouble for drinking while on duty (1868).
He was half Sioux and helped the white soldiers who were waging war against the Sioux.
After the Battle of the Little Bighorn, his head was cut off and brought back to the Sioux village.

Why he might not be annoying:

Because his mother was a member of the Arikara (a tribe frequently in conflict with the Sioux), he was abused and discriminated against until his mother left to return to her own tribe and brought her children with her (1856).
During a visit to his father, he was beaten, spat on, stripped, and mocked.
His brothers were killed in a Sioux raid led by Gall (1862).
One of his sons was killed in an attack by the Sioux (1874).
He was reportedly George Armstrong Custer’s favorite scout.
He amused Custer by taunting him about his poor shooting, claiming Custer could not hit a tent if he was firing from inside of it.
Before the Battle of Little Bighorn, he tried to warn Custer that there were too many Indians for his force to fight.
Major Marcus Reno was asking his advice when he was shot in the head, with his blood and brains spattering onto Reno’s face.
