His tag team in OVW with Rodney Mack was called the Dogg Pound.
He has stupid names for his moves, like 'Shell Shocka' and 'Shell Bomb.'
His push after his draft to RAW was so sudden that writers didn't know what to do with him.

Why he might not be annoying:

He is agile for his height, and can perform some impressive moves, such as the 450 Splash.
His tag team with Charlie Haas was voted PWI's Tag Team of the Year.
He had a chance to show his mic skills during a skit in which he portrayed Bradshaw and talked with a redneck accent.
He has been good friends with Brock Lesnar since their college days, and they were in a tag team together called the Minnesota Stretching Crew while in OVW.
He received a monster push after being drafted to RAW by winning cleanly (without interference) over Triple H. He beat Triple H two more times after that, and beat Ric Flair during a pay-per-view just weeks after his draft (May 2004).
