He tries to keep his age a secret (the Internet Movie Database says it was 1965.)
He keeps a blog on his official website which is rarely updated, and is boring as hell.
His character on 'Queer As Folk' is probably the least popular of them all.
He's had guest appearances on countless other TV shows.
Other than 'Queer As Folk,' he really hasn't had any other roles worth mentioning.

Why he might not be annoying:

He was adopted.
He successfully tracked down his birth parents and has a relationship with them.
He is a straight man who is comfortable enough to play a gay man and do love scenes with other men on TV.
In interviews, he comes off as quite friendly, funny, and open-minded.
He kind of looks like George Clooney.
