The Resume

    (1973- )
    Born in Alabama
    Senior Trump administration official
Headed Region-II of the US Department of Housing & Urban Development (started 2017)
Previously worked as an event/wedding planner, including for the Trump family
Came to national attention during the Michael Cohen hearings after appearing as a special guest of Rep. Mark Meadows, leading to several tense exchanges about race (Feb. 2019)

Why she might be annoying:

Her Linkedln page erroneously listed that she attended Yale (it was later removed).
She was appointed to HUD despite having no reported experience with housing policy.
She was accused of mocking women making sexual allegations against Supreme Court justice nominee Brett Kavanaugh.
She had to apologize for jokingly calling White House Correspondent April Ryan 'Miss Piggy.'
She became embroiled in the controversy surrounding Omarosa Manigault Neuman's claim about the existence of President Trump using the N-word (claims she denied, although a recording surfaced of them discussing the matter seriously).
She physically stood behind Rep. Mark Meadows during his questioning of Cohen, leading to a tense exchange between him and Rep. Rashida Tlaib, who said 'The fact that someone would actually use a prop, a black woman, in this chamber in this committee is alone racist in itself.'

Why she might not be annoying:

She has been open about her struggles with substance abuse.
She graduated from the University of Miami with a B.A. in English literature.
She has remained loyal to the Trump family, publicly thanking them for standing by her 'through tough times.'
She moved from her New York apartment in Trump Plaza to a public housing unit to gain a better understanding of the residents' needs.
She vocally criticized Rashida Tlaib for calling her 'a prop,' noting that it was her own decision to accompany Meadows to the hearing.
Although affiliated with the Trump White House and Republicans, she has been a vocal supporter of LGBT rights on social media.
