Why he might be annoying:

According to Perverted Justice logs, he posed as a 19 year old engaging in a sexually explicit online conversation with what he believed to be a thirteen year old boy.
There was child pornography on his laptop computer.
Even though he never pursued the alleged 13 year old in person, he committed a crime simply by chatting with him in a sexual manner.

Why he might not be annoying:

He committed suicide after seeing the 'Dateline' cameras outside his home.
The police and Chris Hansen staged the arrest to be more dramatic than it needed to be, bringing 'Dateline's' journalistic credibility into question.
