Why they might be annoying:

    They first got together at a party where George was the only person who could understand Gilbert's poor English.
    They almost always wear matching suits.
    One almost never appears in public without the other.
    They call themselves 'living sculptures' and claim everything they do is art.
    Their works often feature nudity, sexual acts and body fluids, including urine, feces and semen.
    Titles of their works include 'Shit Faith' (1982) and 'Naked Shit Pictures' (1995).

Why they might not be annoying:

    Their look inspired Eurythmics and Kraftwerk.
    They donated works to Art for AIDS.
    They made their work 'Planed' available as a free download from the BBC website (2007).
