They lost two MLS Championships (1997 MLS Cup and 1999 U.S. Open Cup).
They lost their first game in a 3-0 shutout to the Kansas City Wiz.
They play a sport that is not very popular in the United States.
They have never sold out a game, and they have some of the worst attendance in the MLS.
Their mascot is a giant, creepy blue thing (see photo).
They will always be overshadowed by the Broncos.
