Hockey Player

The Resume

Why he might be annoying:

He struggled to adapt to the coaching styles in Philadelphia during his four years with the club.
He, along with Mike Richards and Jeff Carter, unofficially has the team dubbed the 'Los Angeles Flyers' as a result of all being drafted by the Flyers and acquired by the Kings via other teams.
He was often injured during his stints with the Flyers and Hurricanes.
He was vilified in Montréal after he clipped Saku Koivu in the eye with his stick in a playoff game, nearly blinding him (2006).
Despite the severe nature of the infraction, many Montréal fans were angered at the fact he avoided a suspension and was allowed to continue playing in the Stanley Cup playoffs.

Why he might not be annoying:

He was a member of three Stanley Cup winning teams in Carolina and Los Angeles.
He made it back to the Flyers lineup three months after he tore both his ACL and MCL.
He flourished playing under Peter Laviolette in Carolina, and was able to live up to his potential in the NHL ranks.
He has a knack for clutch performances during elimination games.
He was humbled when he received the Conn Smythe Trophy, as he felt it should have been awarded to a player on the team who had more of a star pedigree than he did.
