The Resume

    (January 22, 1961-November 8, 2010)
    Born in Baltimore, Maryland
    Attended University of San Francisco
Drafted in the first round of the 1982 NBA Draft by the Chicago Bulls
Guard for the Chicago Bulls (1982-86), Los Angeles Clippers (1986-89) and Seattle SuperSonics (1990-91)
Averaged 14.2 points per game in his NBA career

Why he might be annoying:

He pleaded guilty to assault after a student nurse accused him of attempted rape (February, 1982).
He admitted to receiving thousands of dollars from a USF alumnus for a 'no-show' summer job, prompting the school to shut down the basketball program (1982).
He was hospitalized for cocaine use (1985) and twice was caught violating the NBA's drug policy.
During a game against the Spurs, he sent a ball boy to the concession stand to buy a slice of pizza which he ate while still on the bench (March 20, 1985).
Not too surprisingly, when he reported to the Clippers the next year, he was 25 pounds overweight and was suspended until he got back in shape.
He named his son Quintin and his daughter Quinci.

Why he might not be annoying:

When he was 14, his parents died within a month of each other.
He set a Maryland state scoring record while at Cardinal Gibbons high school (1977-79); at the time of his death, he was still the state's #3 all-time scorer.
After his basketball career ended, he worked as a supervisor at a community center for at-risk youth.
Michael Jordan said, 'He was a good guy to be around. He taught me a lot, the tricks of basketball.'
