Hockey Player
    (August 13, 1993- )
    Born in Salem, New Jersey
Drafted 110th overall by the Calgary Flames in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft
    Forward for the Calgary Flames
    Hobey Baker Award winner (2014)
    Nicknamed 'Johnny Hockey'
He was the target of criticism by Johnny Manziel, who felt he ripped off his 'Johnny Football' nickname.
He trademarked the 'Johnny Hockey' nickname.
Despite posting solid numbers in college, some hockey pundits felt he was passed over as a result of his diminutive stature.
He looks like a young version of Gilbert Gottfried.
His small stature and youthful look make him easily to mistake for a teenager.
He was a standout player at Boston College.
He played in the NHL All-Star Game in his rookie season (2014-15).
His speed, small stature and goal scoring abilities drew comparison to Theoren Fleury, amongst Flames fans.
Unlike Manziel, he lived up to his nickname and backed it up with solid credentials at every level of hockey he played in.
He was the first Flames player since Jarome Iginla to earn NHL All-Rookie Team honors.
