He was a member of both the Penguins Stanley Cup winning teams in the 1990's.
He served as the first captain in the history of the Mighty Ducks franchise.
His chippy hard-nosed style of play made him a fan favourite in Pittsburgh.
He pursued a career in finance and business management, and would later became a co-owner of a franchise in the United States Hockey League.
