Why he might be annoying:

His surname rhymes with Buick.
He was part of the Bruins famed 'Uke Line' of the 1960's as a result of his Ukrainian heritage.
He was nicknamed 'Chief' because he resembled an American Indian, but he was actually of Ukrainian heritage.
The Bruins held a farewell celebration for him (March 28, 1968), after which he played for them for another 10 years.
He was overshadowed on the Bruins' Stanley Cup winning teams by both Bobby Orr and Phil Esposito.

Why he might not be annoying:

He was a prolific scorer during the 1950's and 1960's.
He has remained loyal to the Bruins for over 50 years.
He could not afford skates until he was 13.
He averaged a mere 21 penalty minutes a season and won the Lady Byng Trophy for sportsmanship twice (1971,1974).
When the Bruins ended their 29-year championship drought (1970), he was given the honor of being the first player on the team to hoist the Stanley Cup around Boston Garden.
