He once said that he had been around since the dinosaurs and that he was destined to make music because aliens and time travelers told him to do so. He was being serious.
His band was originally just called 'The Mysterians' but after he changed his name, it became '? and The Mysterians.'
He only had one hit in his band's 30 year history.
