Acted in 'The Avengers (1967),' 'Take a Girl Like You (1970),' 'Endless Night (1971),' 'Jenny's War (1985),' 'Wartime (1987)' and 'Lust in Space (1998)'

Why he might be annoying:

He is typecast as a proper British soldier.
Apart from 'Doctor Who,' he hasn't had much of a career.
He is honorary president of the Doctor Who Appreciation Society.
He titled his autobiography with an obscure line from the series: 'Five Rounds Rapid!'
He got fat in his old age.
When he travels to sci-fi conventions, he sends people out to liquor stores to search for his favorite wine.
He looks like a Peter Sellers character.

He was bullied at boarding school as a child.
He actually served in the British Army.
He speaks fluent French.
He performed on stage in 'The Rocky Horror Show.'
He is the only 'Doctor Who' co-star to have acted with the first eight Doctors.
