    Promoted the video games 'Mat Hoffman's Pro BMX' and Mat Hoffman's Pro BMX 2'
    Wrote the autobiography 'The Ride of My Life' (2002)

    He spells Mat with only one t.
    His nickname is Condor.
    He became a pro BMX rider at age 16.
    He participated in a hairy butt contest. (And lost to photographer Jamie Mousburg.)
    He has been injured so many times, he got used to waking up after a stunt gone wrong not knowing who or where he was.

    He is credited with inventing 100 tricks for BMX freestyle.
    By the time he was 20, he had founded his own production and bike manufacturing companies.
