Hockey Player

The Resume

Why he might be annoying:

He was traded by the Canucks 47 games into his career.
He lost his captaincy with the Leafs as a result of missing a practice.
He attempted to comeback as an active playing career at 44 years old.
While coaching the Don Cherry owned Mississauga Ice Dogs, he had a record of 3-56-7 in his only season as the team's head coach.
Many casual fans remember him as being the last cut for the 1984 Canada Cup team.

Why he might not be annoying:

He flourished as a player following his trade to Toronto.
He was the first 50-goal scorer in Leafs history, eclipsing the 50+ goal mark three separate occasions.
He was viewed as being one of the Leafs more popular players during the 1980's.
Prior to the stint in Mississauga, he was a successful minor league coach.
Unlike many former Leafs who played during the Ballard Years, he made amends with the franchise.
