Why Carol Burnett Show might be annoying:

    Jim Nabors would appear during every premiere episode because Carol Burnett thought he was a 'good luck charm.'
    Tim Conway was not a regular cast member and only made guest appearances for many years. It was not until the end when he joined as a regular.
    The final episode was a 'best of' cop-out.
    Though it lasted for quite a long time and won many Emmy's, in reality it did not fair that well in the ratings.
    Harvey Korman would break character and laugh in the middle of a sketch.
    Each week's show was taped twice in front of different audiences and the best parts from each taping were edited together.
    Spontaneous applause would occur for the arrival of even the most mundane of guest stars.

Why Carol Burnett Show might not be annoying:

    It stayed on the air for 11 years.
    Its reunion episodes have garnered high ratings.
    After it went off the air, it pretty much ended Carol Burnett's career.
