Why Price is Right might be annoying:

It bounced from network to network before settling at CBS.
It is essentially an hour-long series of product placement commercials.
Except for the color of Bob Barker’s hair, almost nothing about it has changed since the 1970’s.
It continues to use a psychedelic set design which went from trendy to retro to outdated.
Absurd mimed skits are acted out during the Showcase finales.
Some prizes offered are useless to normal people, like carousel horse replicas and banjos.
During the early live version of the show, an elephant once defecated on screen.
Bob Barker uses the show as a soapbox for his pet-spaying and neutering agenda.
At the end of a 1990 episode, Bob fumbled his words at the end, telling the audience to 'help control the pet population, have yourself - er, your pets that is, spayed or neutered.'
Bob Barker has been accused of sexual harassment and firing models because they’re too fat.

Why Price is Right might not be annoying:

    Barker’s Beauties.
It is the longest-running game show in U.S. history.
More than 6,000 episodes have aired.
It is the only daytime game show carried by a major network since the early 1990’s.
It appeals to all ages, sexes, ethnicity, social classes, lifestyles and creeds.
Women's breasts tend to bounce profusely when they 'come on down.'
In a famous blooper, an excited woman accidentally had her breasts bounce out of her shirt.
The show is no longer live, reducing the risk of Bob Barker dying of old age on national TV.
It spawned the infamous catch phrase from 'Happy Gilmore': 'The price is wrong, bitch!'
Its contestants appear to be having the best freakin’ time of their lives.
