Drafted 34th overall by the New York Rangers in the 1990 NHL Entry Draft
Forward for the New York Rangers (1991-93), Edmonton Oilers (1993-2001), St. Louis Blues (2001-06, 2006-08), Carolina Hurricanes (2006), Anaheim Ducks (2008) and the New York Islanders (2008-11)

Why he might be annoying:

He was traded to Edmonton as part of Neil Smith's stockpiling strategy.
He was traded from Edmonton to St. Louis in a salary dump move (2001).
He received little media exposure in his prime years as a result of playing in Edmonton.
He is injury prone.
During the 2006 Stanley Cup Finals, he was viciously hit into the boards which caused him to miss the final three games of the series.

Why he might not be annoying:

He was a fan favorite in Edmonton.
He is one of few players who perfected the saucer pass.
He played for the United States in three consecutive Olympics, along with two World Cup of Hockey tournaments.
As of 2007, he is the last Oiler to record 100+ points in a single season.
Although hampered by a bum shoulder, he was able to join his teammates to celebrate their Stanley Cup victory (2006).
