Why Hot or Not might be annoying:

They treat people like meat.
They are extremely superficial (what about inner beauty???).
They sold out to the man when they put advertising on the site and shortened their name to 'HOT or NOT'
They used the antiquated, complex deca 1-10 rating system, rather than the much more improved 'Yes, No or Undecided' voting system.
They spawned many inferior copycat sites like 'AmIAnnoying.com.'
They remove pornography.
They don't have any nifty celebrity pictures, just common folk.

Why Hot or Not might not be annoying:

They average a million hits every nano-second.
They originated a great idea (We are not jealous! We are not jealous! We are not jealous!).
They don't seem to mind the blatant rip offs.
