    He's a Bronze Star Army ranger who served 3 tours of duty in Iraq/Afghanistan.
    He earned his law degree from the University of Denver and did his undergrad work at University of Wisconsin.
    In his first congressional election, he defeated popular GOP incumbent Mike Coffman by 11% in a long time conservative suburban district.
