TV Series
    (February 10, 2009-April 7, 2009)
Due to serve a weapons charge in March 2009, T.I. (Clifford Harris, Jr.) spends the next 45 days working seven troubled youths he believes are about to duplicate his mistakes beyond repair
STEP 1: Surprise (T.I. pays a surprise visit to his subject’s abode)
STEP 2: The reality (the hard truth about the lives they lead)
STEP 3: The future… if you don’t change (the consequences of their current path)
STEP 4: Inspire change (provide motivation to stay on the right path)
The youths – and their peers – are predominantly blacks, as if to suggest race means anything.
T.I. will be incarcerated at a time when he ought to have been on top of the world.
The subtitle is ‘days to redemption.’ As in, how much time remains before he goes behind bars.
Almost no graphic detail is spared, particularly during the second and third steps.
Because they are initially skeptical, the youths are made to visit others who learned their lessons the hard way.
Not all of the subjects are male.
T.I.’s sixth child was born during the show’s run.
