Hockey Player

The Resume

    (March 12, 1983- )
    Born in Turku, Finland
Drafted sixth overall by the Minnesota Wild in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft
Forward for the Minnesota Wild (2005- )

Why he might be annoying:

He didn't make his NHL debut until five years after being drafted by the team.
Despite being touted as the team's first permanent captain during Jacques Lemaire's tenure, he didn't get that honor until Todd Richards became the team's head coach.
Like his older brother, he is injury prone.
He looks like former NHLer Chris Gratton.
His middle name is Sakari, which could be misleading as he isn't of Japanese origin.

Why he might not be annoying:

He and his older brother, Saku, are the first sibling tandem to serve as team captains of two different teams since the Sutter brothers.
As of 2010, he has won a medal at every international competition he has competed in.
He is the first player in Wild history to hold the team captaincy on a permanent basis.
He holds the Wild franchise record for most assists in a single game (4 in 2008).
He played alongside Saku in two Winter Olympics (2006, 2010).
