Baseball Player

The Resume

Why he might be annoying:

He played on seven different teams, including two stints with both the Dodgers and Rangers.
Some baseball pundits felt his success with the Rockies was a result of playing in Denver's high altitude.
He fathered a son out of wedlock.
He was indecisive about whether or not he wanted to pursue baseball or football full time.
His defensive skills were considered suspect, which was in contrast to his hitting ones.

Why he might not be annoying:

He played wide receiver for the football team at Rutgers, before switching to baseball full time.
He was a member of the inaugural Rockies team (1993).
He hit the first ever home run for the Rockies franchise at Mile High Stadium.
He proved to be a solid contributor in the years following his departure from the Rockies, debunking the myth that he succeeded in Denver only cause of the altitude.
He signed a one-day contract with the Rockies, as he felt it was the team he was best associated with during his career.
