TV Reality Show Contestant

The Resume

    (August 30, 1988- )
    Born in Chico, California
    Jordan Edward Rodgers
    Former semi-professional Quarterback
Younger brother of Green Bay Packers Quarterback Aaron Rodgers
Contestant on ABC's The Bachelorette (2016)
Proposed to JoJo Fletcher at the Final Rose Ceremony; selected by Fletcher as the winner of Season 12 (aired Aug. 1, 2016)
Attained notoriety after admitting to the Fletcher that he and his brother 'don't speak anymore' (Jul. 2016)

Why he might be annoying:

He regularly threatened to run away from home as a kid.
His motivations were questioned during his time on the show (including Chris Harrison).
He scored cheap points with JoJo Fletcher by throwing his own brother under the bus.
His family took a cheap shot at Aaron and Olivia Munn during his 'home town date' with JoJo deliberately arranging the table with two empty chairs to signify the two's 'absence' (cue the sad violin music).
He was caught with an active profile on a dating app during his time on the show (he denied actually using it).
He dated Nashville-based personal trainer Brittany Farrar, who blasted him as a lying cheater for falsely claiming their relationship ended due to his football career, when it was actually to film the Bachelorette.
It posed a conflict of interest that JoJo already knew who he was prior to his becoming a contestant.
She also received several warnings that he was merely pursuing a career as a sports commentator (she didn't heed).
He was credited as 'a former professional quarterback' on the show, but he never actually played in a pro-football game (outside of a training camp or practice squad).
He said in an interview he 'would prefer not to live in a hot place like Florida' (maybe it has something to do with his getting cut from both the Miami Dolphins and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers during summer practice sessions...?)

Why he might not be annoying:

He volunteers his time to coaching and training kids.
He has degree in Human and Organizational Development from Vanderbilt University.
He loves Bleu Cheese Ranch salad dressing and home-made breakfast burritos.
He signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars as an undrafted free agent after the 2013 NFL Draft (but was released on July 22, 2013).
He worked to overcome his fear of heights by taking skydiving lessons.
He made a small cameo as a Green Bay Packers player (ironically) in the movie 'Pitch Perfect 2.'
He was able to avoid an escalated family feud when his brother declined to fire a returning shot, offering no comment other than that discussing it would be 'inappropriate.'
