Actor

The Resume

    (April 15, 1955- )
    Born in Atlanta, Georgia
Portrayed Coy Duke on The Dukes of Hazzard (1982-83)
Also appeared in 'The Fix' (1984), 'Blood Savage' (1990) and 'The Gender Bowl' (2005)

Why he might be annoying:

He and Christopher 'Vance Duke' Mayer were hired to replace John Schneider and Tom Wopat during a contract dispute.
In the episode where Schneider and Wopat returned, he and Mayer disappeared after the first commercial break and never showed up in Hazzard County again.
He has done little show biz work since his Coy Duke days.

Why he might not be annoying:

He was a flight attendant who planned to attend the original Dukes casting call (1978) until he was booked on a red-eye flight heading in the opposite direction.
Schneider claims that he told the producers, 'If you want to get someone who will remind you of me, there's a guy in Atlanta named Byron Cherry.'
After largely retiring from show biz, he opened his own bar, Byron's Barkeep in Ventura, California.
