    Born in Forli, Italy
    Italian author, teacher, and physician
    Author of the ground-breaking, De Sedibus et causis norboum per anatomem indagatis, an anatomical text book
    Also wrote; Adversaria anatomica prima, Nova intituyoum medicarum, Epistolae anatorium duae, and Adversarium anatouc atera et terta
    Credited with discovering that diseases originated in specific organs and tissues and establishing anatomy as an independent science

Why he might be annoying:

    He was long-winded both verbally and in his written works.
    He made a major error in teaching that the obstruction of blood vessels had nothing to do with ischemic strokes when in fact that is exactly what causes them.
    Coming from a well to do family, he wanted to be accepted as royalty and married into a royal family.
    He was almost eighty years old before his most important work, was published.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He taught at the University of Padua's medical school for over fifty-five years.
    In addition to his scientific studies, he was a noted classical scholar.
    He entered college at sixteen and graduated three years later with a medical degree and doctorate in philosophy.
    He had fifteen children; three boys and twelve girls!
    Many diseases, organs, and injuries , such as Morgagni's foramen and Morgagni's hernia are named after him.
    He wrote in a simple down to earth manner.
    His magnus opus, Of the Seats and Causes of Diseases Investigated Through Anatomy may be the most important and influential medical text book of all time.
