Why he might be annoying:

He is part of what appears to be a legacy of boxers who shocked the world by winning the title against legends, then losing it on their first title defense (Leon Spinks, Hasim Rahman).
He lost the Undisputed Championship, in his first defense, to Evander Holyfield (October 25, 1990).
He was a journeyman, a boxer who is thrown around the ranks without any direction or chance of making something of himself.

Why he might not be annoying:

He was a 42-1 underdog to beat Mike Tyson, and then he knocked him out in 10 rounds.
He underwent a series of devastating family tragedies before the Tyson fight, but he chose to fight anyways, using it to combat his fear.
Leon Spinks and Hasim Rahman lived large and talked trash after winning the belt, then got demolished, whereas Buster knew his time was coming and kept quiet.
