Why he might be annoying:

    Despite earning All-American credentials in his final year of college, he was passed over in the first eleven rounds of the draft.
    He turned down the Oakland Raiders head coaching position.
    He named his son Ken Whisenhunt, Jr.
    He opted to take the Cardinals head coaching position instead of the Pittsburgh Steelers one when it became vacant.
    Before landing in Pittsburgh, he was considered a nomadic coach.

    He was instrumental in the development of Ben Roethlisberger.
    He helped rejuvenate the careers of Mark Bruener and Jay Riemersma in Pittsburgh.
    He called the trick play which helped the Steelers win Super Bowl XL.
    He was instrumental in the Steelers offensive turnaround from 31st to 2nd in the span of a single season.
    He made the Falcons roster as a 12th round draft pick.
    His success with the Steelers tight ends helped him get promoted to the team's offensive co-ordinator.
    He majored in civil engineering at Georgia Tech.
