Why he might be annoying:

He constantly mistreats his parents (digging a hole in the yard, covering it and watching his father ride a lawn mower through it; shooting his father with a paintball gun; waking his parents with a hardcore metal band at 3 am; scaring his mother by putting a live alligator in the kitchen of their house).
He still lives with his parents.
Some see his involvement in Jackass as 'selling out.'
He often involves his brother's band, Camp Kill Yourself (cKy) in his films.

Why he might not be annoying:

It is obvious that he truly loves his parents.
For all of the CKY films, he did much of the editing and production on his own.
He has his own production company.
He and his friends get to do things that they did in high school, but now they get paid to do it.
He is an outstanding skateboarder and is well respected among professionals and amateurs.
He has helped numerous bands become well known in the music community (HIM/HER, cKy, etc.).
