Goddess in the ancient Egyptian religion from time immemorial to about the 6th century AD
Name means 'She of the Throne'

She married her brother, Osiris, and had her son, Horus, by him.
Her followers believed that they could control the weather by how and whether they combed and/or braided the hair of her idols.
Her parents' names were Geb and Nut.
    She wasn't real.

Why she might not be annoying:

Along with protecting children and slaves, she was also the goddess of motherhood/fertility and of magic.
The god Set once killed her husband, Osiris, and she had to put him back together and bring him back to life.
She was wise and loved wisdom.
She was a very popular goddess with her worship, spreading throughout the Graeco-Roman world as far as Great Britain and to Iraq.
Along the way, her worship absorbed the worship of other goddesses like Astarte and Hathor.
She wore a really cool crown, and in some pictures, had wings.
