Wrote 'Process and Reality,' 'Adventures of Ideas,' 'Modes of Thought,' 'Science and the Modern World,' 'The Aims of Education and Other Essays,' 'Religion in the Making,' 'Symbolism: Its Meaning and Effect' among others
Co-wrote the three volumes of 'Principia Mathematica' with Bertrand Russell

Why he might be annoying:

He was an agnostic.
His middle and last names sound like directions for finding a zit.
His parents thought him 'too delicate' to be sent to public school, so he was home schooled until he was fourteen.
As a child he was a mediocre student, and failed to demonstrate his remarkable intelligence until he was older.
He had a reputation for being a 'loner' while in college.

Why he might not be annoying:

Along with Bertrand Russell and Gottlob Frege, he was one of the founders of modern symbolic logic.
He was one of the world's most talented mathematicians during his lifetime.
His youngest son died in World War I.
He developed 'process metaphysics,' which had a major impact of many areas of philosophy.
