Why he might not be annoying
He grew up around professional athletes, so his decision to follow in his father's footsteps was easy.
He and a few friends survived being robbed at gunpoint in the weeks following getting drafted by the Chiefs.
He showed enough promise in his lone start during his rookie season, that the Chiefs named him their starting quarterback in his second season with the team.
He rewrote the Chiefs record books for most touchdown passes and passing yards in a single season.
