President of the Adolph Coors Company
    Extreme Conservative and anti-communist
Subject of the biography 'Citizen Coors: An American Dynasty' by Dan Baum

Why he might be annoying:

He cheated on his wife for the last 13 of nearly 50 years of marriage (they divorced). He later married his mistress.
He hired Eva Gabor to star in a TV commercial, but cancelled it when a test group described her as looking like a hooker.
He was fined for a toxic spill cover-up, when the brewing company polluted Clear Creek.
According to 'Citizen Coors: An American Dynasty,' he refused to use zip codes because he believed that they were 'nothing more than another attempt by Washington to keep tabs on citizens' lawful business.'
He idolized Ronald Reagan and was part of his 'kitchen cabinet' by contributing to the finances of Reagan's political career.
He was under suspicion of illegally interrogating employees for drug possession.
He put job applicants through a lie-detector test, asking questions about their religion, heritage, sexual preferences and political beliefs.

The public relations of the Coors Brewery continues to suffer today for his extreme political beliefs.

Why he might not be annoying:

He shared a reasonably inexpensive office and worked closely with his brother, William K. Coors.
After defeating unionism at the Coors Brewery, workers were still treated fairly with many opportunities for advancement.
President Reagan often turned to him for advice.
His friend and political ally, Edwin Meese (former U.S. attorney general), described him as 'tall and quiet and plain spoken, with a dry sense of humor.'
He graduated Cornell University with a degree in chemical engineering.
