    He recorded 120 stolen bases while playing for the Dodgers farm team, which caught the eye of then Padres general manager Jack McKeon.
    He was a member of the first Padres team to reach the World Series (1984).
    He was a reliable leadoff hitter during his tenure with the Padres.
    He holds the Padres franchise record for most stolen bases in a single season.
    He is the father of WNBA star Candice Wiggins.
