Members were brothers Gerald and Sean Levert with friend Marc Gordon
Recorded '(Pop, Pop, Pop, Pop) Goes My Mind,' 'Let's Go Out Tonight,' 'Casanova,' 'My Forever Love,' 'Sweet Sensation,' 'Addicted to You,' 'Pull Over,' 'Just Coolin',' 'Gotta Get the Money,' 'Rope a Dope Style,' 'All Season,' 'Baby I'm Ready,' 'Good Ol' Days' and 'ABC-123'
Gerald died of an accidental overdose of prescription drugs at age 40 (November 10, 2006)
Sean died while in custody of the Cuyahoga County Jail for failure to pay child support at age 39 (March 30, 2008)

Why they might be annoying:

So Gordon wasn't important enough to be a part of the band name?
The had only one hit cross over to the pop side of the charts ('Casanova' reached #5).
Gerald spent time away from the group with a solo career and the band LSG.
Sean owed $80,000 in child support and 5 days into his jail sentence became 'out of control' and had to be strapped into restraints.

Why they might not be annoying:

Gerald & Sean were the sons of Eddie Levert, lead singer for the '70s super soul group the O'Jays.
They had 12 songs reach the Top 10 on Billboard's R&B Singles chart, including five number 1's.
They discovered The Rude Boys, who recorded 'Written All Over Your Face,' Billboard Music Award's #1 R&B Single of the Year (1991).
They were planning a reunion tour in 2006 when Gilbert died.
After finding a replacement singer for Gilbert they were going to try the reunion again, then Sean died.
Jail officials immediately called emergency crews when Sean's blood pressure skyrocketed, but by the time they got him to the hospital it was too late.
