    Born in Seaford, Delaware
    Second baseman for the Montreal Expos (1990–93), Los Angeles Dodgers (1994–96), St. Louis Cardinals (1997–98), Baltimore Orioles (1999–2001) and the Chicago Cubs (2001–02)

Why he might be annoying:

    His middle name is Lamont.
    In addition to naming his oldest son after himself, he named two of his other kids Diamond and Denim.
    He was part of one of the worst trades in Dodgers history as the Expos traded him for a young Pedro Martinez.
    His productivity declined dramatically after he left the Expos.
    He was the last out in Hideo Nomo's last major league no-hitter (2001).

Why he might not be annoying:

    He initially planned to pursue a basketball career before switching to baseball.
    He finished second in NL Rookie of the Year voting (1990)
    He was one of the founding members of the Urban Baseball League, which is a baseball program that is involved in inner-cities across the United States.
    He was inducted into the Delaware Sports Museum and Hall of Fame (2006).
    His son, Delino, was a prospect in the Houston Astros system.
