He drank heavily and embarrassed his brother countless times.
When Jimmy was running for president, he made outlandish statements like 'I'm really the only normal one in the family.'
He wore bib overalls and talked like one of the Beverly Hillbillies.
He drove a red pickup truck he called 'Redneck Power.'
Billy Beer's slogan: 'Its the best I ever tasted. And I've tasted a lot.'
He received a $220,000 loan as a paid agent for Libya.

Why he might not be annoying:

He was a redneck and proud of it.
His bumbling antics provided comedians with endless material.
He would have been an effective cast member of 'Hee-Haw.'
He eventually beat his alcoholism.
He died of pancreatic cancer in 1988.
