Murderer (Alleged)

The Resume

    (March 19, 1986- )
    Born in Warren, Ohio
    Resided in Orange County, Florida
Charged with first degree murder (October 14, 2008) in the death of her daughter, Caylee Anthony, who was reported missing (June 2008) and whose remains were later found
Faced capital punishment (death penalty) if found guilty
Found not guilty on counts of felony murder, manslaughter and child abuse; found guilty on four counts of providing false information to a law enforcement officer (July 5, 2011)

Why she might be annoying:

Her murder trial became a media circus and dominated news headlines.
She had the reputation of being a party girl, and even participated in a 'Hot Body' contest.
She was arrested multiple times after her daughter disappeared on charges ranging from neglect to fraud and forgery.
31 days was how long it took for her to report her daughter was missing.
She claimed she had left her daughter with her nanny (a nanny her family, friends and neighbors had never heard of or seen).
During her trial, her affect was questioned whenever she didn't demonstrate an emotional response to testimony regarding her daughter's death.
The evidence the prosecution had against her was largely circumstantial (internet searches, the death stench in her car trunk, her erratic behavior, etc.).
With hundreds of searches for chloroform on her home computer, some speculated she used chloroform to sedate her daughter while she went out and partied.
She got a tattoo reading Bella Vita (beautiful life) while her daughter was missing.

Why she might not be annoying:

She was the product of a dysfunctional family.
During her trial, a few witnesses testified she was a good mother who never abused her daughter.
Though inconsistent with her explanations, she maintained her innocence.
She might have been sexually abused by her father, George.
Many felt her mother lied on the witness stand (saying she did internet searches for chloroform instead of Casey) in an effort to save her daughter from receiving the death penalty.
