The Resume

    (1974-1983)
Spokeswerewolf for General Mills' Fruit Brute cereal
Cereal was frosted and fruit flavored with lime-flavored marshmallow bits
Part of the Monster Cereals line with Count Chocula, Frankenberry and Boo Berry

Why he might be annoying:

In his commercials, he wore garish, multi-color overalls. (In his defense, it was the 70s, when everyone's fashion sense went wack.)
    His cereal was discontinued.
Although a Fruit Brute box appears in 'Pulp Fiction,' when Lance (Eric Stoltz) eats some, Froot Loops were used as a stunt cereal.
Despite the cachet of a 'Pulp Fiction' cameo, General Mills declined to add Fruit Brute to its annual Halloween issue of the Monster Cereals.

Why he might not be annoying:

According to the commercials, his cereal was 'vitamin charged.'
His replacement, Yummy Mummy, lasted for an even shorter time, five years.
He must have made an impression on Quentin Tarantino, who included Fruit Brute boxes in both 'Resevoir Dogs' and 'Pulp Fiction.'
Collectors have paid up to $500 a box for his cereal on eBay.
