    Forward for the Winnipeg Jets (1974-78) and the New York Rangers (1978-85)
    Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy winner (1985)

Why he might be annoying:

    He was passed over in the NHL Entry Draft due to xenophobia on behalf of the general managers.
    He spent the majority of his NHL career on poor Rangers teams.
    He missed the majority of the 1981-82 season due to injuries.
    Despite posting decent numbers in the NHL, many hockey pundits prefer to acknowledge his WHA career instead.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He was one of the first Swedish hockey players to make an impact in North American pro hockey.
    He, along with Ulf Nilsson and Bobby Hull were considered one of the WHA's most explosive offensive trios.
    He was inducted into the IIHF and Manitoba Hockey Hall of Fames.
    He defied many stereotypes of European hockey players and earned the Masterton Trophy as a result of his perseverance (1985).
