    Attended the University of Central Arkansas
    Pitcher for the Oakland Athletics (1973-1976), Seattle Mariners (1977-1981, 1983) and the Detroit Tigers (1983-1984)

    He goes by his middle name.
    As the Athletics won the 1974 World Series, he never appeared in any game of the series.
    Despite pitching in one game of the 1975 ALCS, the Athletics were swept by the Boston Red Sox in 3 games.
    Despite winning 12 games during the Mariners' inaugural season, he lost 13 games.
    He was let go by the Tigers before the team won the 1984 World Series.

    He was the first player who came from the University of Central Arkansas to play in the major leagues.
