Why Agent Carter might be annoying
It did poorly in the ratings and was cancelled after only two seasons and eighteen episodes.
It's attempts to address social justice issues like racism and sexism were heavy-handed, anachronistic, and overall poorly done.
The show's setting was moved from New York to Los Angeles for the second season.
The pilot was weak and there was no series finale.
Unless you were familiar with the Marvel movie and television universe it was hard to know what was going on and why on the show.
The critics liked it.
Why Agent Carter might not be annoying
Hayley Atwell was perfect in the title role.
The supporting cast was excellent.
The production values, especially the costuming and the cars were fantastic!
The writing was for the most part outstanding.
The episodes all had really cool titles like; The Blitzkrieg Button & The Edge of Mystery.
Attempts to incorporate the show into the greater Marvel TV and movie universe were very well done.
