Why he might be annoying:

He was the only 'Survivor: Fiji' contestant who applied to be on the show; CBS producers scouted the remaining contestants.
His family used to own a snapping turtle, which was since returned to the wilderness.
While competing in a slip and slide challenge (for reward), he took a serious tumble; medics described his condition as musculoskeletal pain. He complained about his condition.
He looks like Santa Claus.

He worked as a school bus driver and spent 14 years as a barber.
He enjoys coaching children's sports teams, particularly soccer; baseball; basketball and football.
His family adopted two dachshunds to replace their dead bulldog.
He competes in inline skating marathons.
He has been happily married to a teacher for over 30 years.
His fellow contestants dubbed him 'Papa Smurf.'
Against Anthony, he ate hairy pig snouts to win immunity for his tribe.
