Why he might be annoying:

His most widely-seen work as an adult has been an Arby's commercial (2005).
Despite his own drug use, when 'Family Affair' co-star Anissa Jones OD'd, he commented, 'I wasn't all that much surprised.'
He hosted a radio show with his psychiatrist ('The Dr. Zod and Johnny Show').
He said of autograph shows, 'You know, I wouldn't pay ten bucks for my picture and all that, but other people do and if I can make a little bit of a living that way... well, hey!'

Why he might not be annoying:

He got along so well with Brian Keith during the filming of 'The Russians Are Coming, The Russians Are Coming' that Keith insisted that the producers of 'Family Affair' audition him.
The part of Jody Davis was originally written for a ten-year-old, but he and Anissa Jones had such good chemistry during his audition that the show was rewritten to make Jody and Buffy six-year-old twins.
In addition to English, he is fluent in Spanish, Portuguese, French and American Sign Language.
He founded Paso Por Paso to help Spanish-speaking addicts and alcoholics find treatment.
