Baseball Player

The Resume

Why he might be annoying:

Due to the fact that his home run total surged in 2010 compared with previous seasons, there were quite a number of people who thought that he was on steroids.
It was at the point that when he reached his 50th home run of 2010, he was met with indifference and skepticism.
He has never played for a playoff-contending baseball team.
In his rookie year he played for four different teams. He was also on the New York Mets roster for a day without playing a game for them. This gave him the dubious honor of being the only baseball player to be on five different rosters in the same season.

Why he might not be annoying:

In reaching 54 home runs in 2010, he set a record for biggest season-to-season increase in home runs that was previously held by Davey Johnson.
He credits a change in his swinging style for his ability to hit more home runs, giving credit to the Blue Jays' hitting coach, Dwayne Murphy.
In the 2010 season he was named American League Player of the Week three times and American League Player of the Month twice.
He initially took up baseball as a way to pay for college.
