Baseball Player

The Resume

    (May 21, 1941- )
    Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma
Third baseman for the New York Yankees (1968-69)
Manager for the Atlanta Braves (1978-81,1990-October 11, 2010) and Toronto Blue Jays (1982-85)

Why he might be annoying:

Due to bad knees, he had a limited playing career.
As general manager of the Braves, he appointed himself as manager (1990).
He broke John McGraw's record when he was ejected from his 132nd game (August 14, 2007).
He is the only person to be ejected from two World Series games (1992,96).

Why he might not be annoying:

Except for the strike-shortened 1994 season, he led the Braves to a division title every year from 1991 to 2005.
He was named manager of the year four times (1985,1991,2004-05) and is one of only three people to win the title in both leagues.
After he set the ejections record, Chipper Jones said, 'It was inevitable. He's too passionate about the game.'
